Pottery shard sketch

Earlier in the year, I came across a shard of Cornishware pottery in a stream whilst on a walk. I loved the bright blue colour and felt inspired to draw it in my sketchbook when I got home!
This is a newly edited version of an Instagram reel, showing my discovery of the pottery shard and a time-lapse of the drawing. Plus I’ve included a materials list for you. I hope it inspires you to draw from your own collection!
Materials used:
Caran D’Ache Luminance pencil, Raw Umber 50%.
Derwent pencils, Burnt Yellow Ochre & Brown Ochre.
Caran D’Ache Pablo pencil, Sapphire Blue.
