Sign up for 'Under the Surface': Co-hosted with Pauline from Creative Cocoon Art Club
Join Pauline and me on Tuesday 18th February at 7pm GMT/8pm CEST for a gentle drawing session which will be focused on what’s under the surface in nature.
Hello!
I’m excited to share that this month’s live drawing date will be a collaboration with La Scarlatte in the Creative Cocoon Art Club
If you’re not familiar with Pauline's work, I encourage you to check out her art club. In the Creative Cocoon, she offers a welcoming and inspiring space for anyone interested in botanical and nature illustration and painting. Pauline's artwork is exquisitely detailed and beautifully observed, reflecting her deep appreciation for both art and the natural world.
Join Pauline and me for a gentle drawing session themed Under the Surface, where will be inspired by creatures that live or hibernate under ground or emerge from under their protective cocoons. We will also draw inspiration from the hidden aspects of plant life, sketching the intricate, life-sustaining roots of spring plants, along with their graceful stems and flowers.
In this post you’ll find the photo references we’ll be drawing from (including this happy mole! 😆), plus details of what to expect from the session. Simply sign up via the Luma link in this post or in Paulines Club if you’re a member, and you’ll receive updates by email.
This session will be recorded and added to the replay library within a day or so. So if you can’t make it live, you can still catch up!
