Winter Garden Birds Drawing Session

Hello! 

To tie in with this month’s Winter Birds theme, we’ll be sketching from RSPB’s bird feeder video recordings, shot during their Big Garden Birdwatch challenge at the beginning of this year. This annual challenge is the largest garden wildlife survey in the UK and I’ve enjoyed taking part for several years now. The information that is gathered during the challenge helps the RSPB monitor the health of the UK’s garden bird population and aids research and conservation efforts.

These video recordings are from the RSPB’s YouTube channel, a place I highly recommend if you’re a bird lover, there’s a lot of fascinating and informative content, and it’s worth it just for the live camera feeds alone! RSPB is a fantastic charity for bird conservation and is worth supporting if you can.
