Lovely gentle post that I needed this morning! I've had a lot on my plate lately and it's taking its toll. Feels like I've no room to breathe at the moment!

Thank you so much for linking to me, Emma! I just shared this and didn't even notice! I love that line about keeping a sketchbook in the car. Those drawings make me so happy too!

You're welcome Beth! I wasn't able to catch the live session but i'm itching to have a go at the fast faces replay!

Car drawing is such a cosy way to draw on location too, especially this time of year when drawing outdoors is less appealing!

Such a lovely post, Emma! And some super tips about keeping the creative practice going in the holidays - I already keep a small sketchbook and limited supplies to hand around the house (and car!) but will take you up on the idea of sketching family at gatherings over Christmas. I also love the tip about keeping a special folder on my phone for sketching in the evenings - great idea!!

I am looking forward to your annual review and 2024 plans post - I am pondering how to wrap up my year, and plan for next year, so I am sure this will be helpful for me :) Take care x
