Those inky artworks are beautiful, can't wait to see what you do with self made ink! I have a walnut tree in front of my house, and realised last week I could have made ink if I had collected the hulls....it'll be a project next year! And I hadn't realised you did a drawing session on familiars too - i'll be sure to put a link to yours when I post my replay, so people who are into it can do another session 😊

Well, my initial oak gall foraging expedition was disappointing, I think the local squirrels have taken all the acorns before the wasps could get to them so I didn't find any! Darn those squirrels 😆 I'm going to have to try a new ingredient but luckily, there are plenty of other natural options I can experiment with.

Ahh, what a shame about the walnuts! You'll have to set a reminder in your calendar for next year.

Ahh, yes that witches and familiars session was enjoyable. I did lots of research into witchcraft and magic that month and learnt so much about the history and perceptions of witches. It's such a fascinating area. More than happy for you to link to the replay, thank you! 😁

Haha those swifty squirrels 😄

Yes, such an interesting topic! I've gone down a rabbit hole of information too haha. I also listenede to the podcast from the BBC a while ago, and am now searching for equivalents.

I've put a link to your replay in my next post (comes out tomorrow!) :-)
